ABLE libraries are small lending box and wooden shelf libraries which are placed either in schools or communities across the country. One of the main priorities of ABLE library program is to reach the remote area, where there is no access to library within the school or community; ABLE has shown high commitment to extend its libraries each year and covers new areas inside the country.
This project has close mutual cooperation with Ministry of Education to extend and update its school libraries.
ABLE has succeeded to establish 257 ABLE libraries with high school and communities across the country. Every year ABLE program provides reading materials and general study materials in order to update the libraries and also to encourage the readers. By placing ABLE libraries in communities with mosques, clinics, social institutes, etc., ABLE focuses low level community readerships like, children, farmers, housewives, and ordinary people.
