ABLE publications are invaluable ones to Afghan new literates as they are produced in simple Dari and Pashto languages. The publications are limited in pages and are at primary level.
These publications are targeted the new literates on different subjects like health, agriculture, history, home-management. ABLE editorial board meets to choose
the titles for publications. The suggestions from readers are considered when proposing new titles. The publication has not developed in Afghanistan yet.
The rate of producing books is in a very low state in Afghanistan. ABLE exists to fill out this gap by producing books in demanding concepts .So far ABLE has succeeded to produce 365 titles into Dari and Pashto languages. The enormous diversity of titles has made this project very interesting for readerships.
ABLE for children
Realizing that there is a gap existing in children literature in Afghanistan, ACKU is initiating a new phase of publication “literature for children.” ACKU has built a very good networking of children authors.
ACKU intends to use its existing network, and collaboration from other organization who work for children education, to produce books for children. It is worth mentioning that recent ABLE publications for children have been recognized by many individuals, institutions and some organizations.
