Mezan Newspaper (September 2014)
The Mezan Newspaper collection is an incredible source of varied information on the socio- political, economic and daily life challenges in Afghanistan. It also provides an insight to the positive changes that have happened in Afghanistan during the period 1996 – 2003 when it was published by the Afghanistan Embassy in New Delhi. The articles include for example one on Afghanistan independence and its impact on countries in the region, and another on the concerns of Ahmad Shah Masoud in the last months of his life. These newspapers will be a vital source of primary data for researchers exploring, among many other issues. the realities of Afghan-Indian relations and foreign policies in the period 1996 to 2003.
