Selected materials from the ACKU collections are digitizing and provide immediate online access. The library has been digitizing its collections since 2007, so currently over 1,740,087 pages are scanned, while over 53174 PDFs of books and serials are accessible at ACKU’s digital website and its growing digital library now includes collections of photographs, maps, and broadsides from the War era, Afghanistan history, literature, cultural, agricultural, women and other historical resources. Some of the collections were digitized in partnership with other institutions such as the Library of University of Arizona, while others are part of our ongoing program to provide remote electronic access to our collections.
