“Media Law and Policy” program, organized by Internews, hosted at ACKU from July 25-27. Individuals currently working as media lawyers, journalists, civil society activists, also students from Law Faculty of Kabul University and other provincial universities participated in this three days program. In this program participants learned about ICT (International Communication and Technology) Regulation and International best practices, media and extremism, freedom of Expression and its restrictions, usage of social media for advocacy, role of oversight commission on the access to information and the need for criminalization of cybercrimes.

At the end of the program, Mr. Abdul Waheed Wafa, Executive Director of ACKU, briefed about ACKU and Mr. Reza Hussaini, offered a tour of the centre.
