On October 7, 2015, Afghanistan Center at Kabul University (ACKU) and the American Institute of Afghanistan Studies (AIAS) jointly organized and screened “Afghan Cameleers in Australia” a documentary directed by Fahim Hashemi. The documentary focuses on the history of Afghan cameleers and their role on Australia’s progress. Dr. Rohullah Amin Director of AIAS explored the history of the cameleers in Australia followed by a question and answer session.
