Afghanistan Center at Kabul University (ACKU) hosted the sixth round of the series of discussions on Tolerance and Acceptance on December 15 at its conference hall in Kabul University. Dr. Amin Ahmadi, a distinguished scholar, researcher and the president of Ibn-e-Sina University explored tolerance and acceptance from an Islamic Culture perspective. His speech focused on the elements of tolerance in Islamic school of thoughts. Dr. Ahmadi rationalized that all religions paths will cross at one point ultimately if we dig deep into their very objectives and vision. However, he stated that by choosing different paths, human beings cannot impose war on each other and use violence as means of superiority to other groups, religions and sects. At the end of the discussion, Dr. Ahmadi responded to participants’ questions.
